Year of the Boot…strap (part 2)

EYMH is involved in the Horizon Europe project ‘Bootstrap’, which explores the problematic use of the internet among young people and its mental health effects. In 2024, EYMH collaborated with universities to host two Bootcamps for around 60 students from nine countries, focusing on research and actions related to the project.

Managing mental health as a young refugee, asylum seeker or migrant

In 2022, in collaboration with Voices for Young Refugees Europe & Council for Europe’s Youth Department, our CEO and Razan organized a study week focusing on the mental health of young refugees. The project addressed the challenges they face, aiming to provide support.

Speak your mind v2.0 Report – EYE 2023

Our super brilliant team of volunteers and young leaders attended the fabulous European Youth Event 2023, conducting the “Speak your mind v2.0” workshop. The aim was to explore the biggest factors affecting young people’s mental health and propose solutions. Check out the digital copy or download the PDF for the full report.

European Disability Card – from proposal to reality

Albiona and Su, young leaders from EYMH, attended a webinar about the European Disability Card – a project to boost participation of disabled individuals across the EU. The webinar highlighted the card’s development and future plans, though it did miss discussing mental health explicitly and concerns were raised about varying treatment in different countries. Overall, the initiative seems promising but it’s still a work-in-progress.
