This World Mental Health Day, the theme is real voices, real change and so we aren’t just talking about youth mental health—we are putting Young Experts and Activists at the center of real decision-making.
Euro Youth Mental Health (EYMH) is excited to announce the official recruitment for our rebooted Youth Advisory Board (YAB)! We are looking for up to 8 young people aged 18–27 with lived experience to help lead Europe’s premier youth mental health NGO—ensuring our work remains truly for young people, by young people.
What’s Involved?
As a YAB member, you won’t just advise; you will actively co-create our future. You will:
- Drive Decision-Making: Contribute directly to high-level organizational policy, campaigns, and EU-wide projects.
- Grow Your Skills: Receive free professional training and personal development opportunities in advocacy and public speaking.
- Travel & Connect: Represent youth voices at events across Europe.
- Get Valued: Participate in monthly co-production meetings with vouchers provided as a thank-you for your expertise and time.
Who We Are Looking For
You don’t need formal professional qualifications to apply—we value your lived experience! We are looking for young advocates who:
- Are 18–27 years old and able to collaborate in English at some level.
- Have lived in Europe for at least 5 years while under the age of 18, and currently reside in Europe.
- Are passionate about sharing personal mental health experiences with empathy and compassion to create systemic change.
How to Apply
Your story and insights have the power to transform mental health care across Europe. If you are ready to bring your lived experience to the table and make your voice #livedandloud, we want to hear from you!
