Next week is European, run by Mental Health Europe, and we have 2 exciting events happening.
This year’s theme, “Stronger Together,” reminds us that while the world around us is constantly changing, our community and our connections are what will help us grow and more importantly, support those young people struggling with mental ill-health.
Nothing about us, without us.
At EYMH, we believe that mental health shouldn’t be managed in isolation. To celebrate the week and bring our community closer, we are hosting two special sessions designed to help us pause, reflect, and support one another.
Event 1: The gentle are of appropriate co-production
When: Monday, May 4th | Time: 11am – 12:30pm CET Where: Online via Zoom

We’re kicking off the week with an interactive session focused on importance of involving young people in anything that will impact them. This is a safe space to connect with peers across the continant and pick up practical tools for the weeks ahead.

- What to bring: A hot drink and an open mind 🙂
Event 2: Young Expert in the Chair, with MEP Jana Toom (Instagram Live)
When: Wednesday, May 6th | Time: 6:30pm – 7pm Where: @euroyouthmentalhealth
By Wednesday, the “mid-week slump” can often set in. Join us live on Instagram for a relaxed, informal conversation between one of our Young Experts and MEP Jana Toom, as they discuss what the MEP Intergroup on mental health can do to prioritise young peoples mental health, and why Jana believes this is a key topic for her. This is a great chance to ask questions and engage with us in real-time.
- How to join: Simply head over to our Instagram profile at 6:20pm and click our profile picture to join the Live stream!

Why get involved?
European Mental Health Week is about more than just awareness; it’s about action. Whether you can join us for ten minutes on Wednesday or a full session on Monday, your presence helps foster a culture where mental health is a priority for everyone and young people feel they are seen
“Change doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when we come together. Lets be Lived and Loud”
We can’t wait to see you there.
