Our human rights are important, especially for young people, especially in mental health.
As an organisation, we are huge fans of Article 12 in the United Nations Convention on rights of a child, which states ‘the right to be heard’, especially on topics that directly impact young people.
However, as well as this, there are many other reasons human rights and our rights in general need to be nore involved in our youth mental health conversations.
